An AWESOME stay!

tasty bacongenerous portionsfriendly staff
I LOVED the delicious three-course evening meal! The friendly girls served the food with smiles. The breakfast offered generous portions with tasty bacon and sausages. The deal for dinner, a suite, and breakfast for £207 plus extras was such great value!
There were very few electric sockets, the TV was positioned awkwardly high on the wall.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included a wide choice of hot and cold items, including tasty bacon and sausages, though a separate station for gluten-free products would really stand out from the rest, particularly with actual gluten-free choices beyond toast.
Rooms
8/10
The suite included a pleasing bathroom, bedroom, and en suite sitting room, even though more conveniently placed electrical outlets could significantly enhance the overall user experience, adding practical value.
Location
10/10
The hotel offers easy access to the main town and sits close to the Turkish Baths, making it convenient for exploring, and boasts ample garden and parking space surrounding the hotel, ensuring a quiet environment despite its central position.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features a renovated entrance lobby and bar, alongside a meeting room or private dining room, all enhancing the charm and historical ambiance, while also providing areas for relaxation and socializing after a day exploring.

constant noiseuninterested staff
I found a couple of issues . the room i was in was right above the pot washing area. I constantly heard the noise of clanking dishes until late. it made it difficult to sleep, and i wasn't informed about potential noise from kitchen activities when i booked. plus, the staff seemed uninterested in addressing these issues. They offered little help to resolve the problem or show that they cared about my comfort. that lack of attention definitely dampened my experience, i left feeling somewhat ignored.
